Ingredients

  • 150g (6oz) dried rice noodles
  • 50g chopped chicken, or pork
  • 5-6 large peeled prawns
  • 4 gloves peeled garlic crushed
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 180g (7oz) bean sprouts
  • 3 spring onions sliced
  • A few coriander for garnish
  • Half tea spoon chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon crushed roasted peanuts

Instructions

Soak rice noodles in warm water until soft and then drain. Add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil to a wok, break 1 or 2 eggs into the wok with the hot oil and stir, push eggs aside. Add chopped garlic and stir until brown fragrant. Add a small skinned chopped chicken breast, 4 shrimps and stir until cooked. Add 1 chopped shallot, the rice stick noodles and the So.. Saucy Pad Thai sauce, stir well, add a handful bean sprouts, continue stirring for 2 minutes and add a chopped spring onion. Serve hot, garnish with sprinkled crushed peanuts (optional).

Step 1
